Ok, so it's the sixth of the sixth of the sixth... Yay. I always like dates with patterns in them - but I usually find more patterns than most people. I like the fact that it's still the beginning of the century because there are more patterns that way.
I mean, you get ones that are all the same, like today, you get ones that are almost palindromes (if you ignore the zeros) like 6.1.06 and then there are more obscure ones, like 30.5.06 (see, 5x6=30)... as you can see, anything'll do really.
I just think it's funny that anyone would make a big deal of it. I mean, it's quite predictable that someone would release a movie called "The Omen"... and Slayer releasing an album? Gee, never saw that coming!
I saw "V for Vendetta" on the weekend. Well, I saw about two thirds of it, having arrived late at my friend's house where everyone was watching it. I really enjoyed it though, so now I want to see the rest, that is, the beginning. I don't know why, but it really appealed to me.
Also, my sister got "The Princess Bride" on the weekend - such an amusing movie. Since she already has "Spaceballs" and she was talking about the good old "Robin Hood - Men in Tights" (Mum was then asking me if it's approriate...hmm...), it appears we've got a bit of a Mel Brooks collection going. Suits me!

I haven't seen Vendetta and I want to do so. I saw the Omen ages ago; I'm a fool for those demon apocalyptic antiChrist movies, but they never are any good, with the possible exception of Frailty. Oh yeah, I'm aware of what Fatty wrote about--think I saw it on Omni's blog. As it were, 6606 was one uneventful day for me. Besides, hasn't Jesus defeated the devil...opps, he doesn't like to be reminded!
