actually, a time for reading anything that's not study =D

I never have to do another English exam again!!! Wooo!
so I've read the introduction to Plato's Republic, sung lots of songs from musicals with my sister (well, we always do that) and read some Latin from last year's book...
Yay for Catullus...

vivamus, mea Lesbia, atque amemus,
rumoresque senum severiorum
omnes unius aestimemus assis!
soles occidere et redire possunt;
nobis cum semel occidit brevis lux,
nox est perpetua una dormienda.
da mi basia mille, deinde centum,
dein mille altera, dein secunda centum;
deinde usque altera mille, deinde centum.
dein, cum milia multa fecerimus,
conturbabimus illa, ne sciamus,
aut ne quis malus invidere possit,
cum tantum sciat esse basiorum.

yeah, I can't be bothered to write a translation for the whole thing.
Here's a translation for the bit in italics, but it does lose something in translation:
Give me a thousand kisses, then a hundred
then another thousand and a hundred;
then right up to another thousand, then a hundred.
